Another vote for the Webasto bunk heater. Keeps it toasty warm, burns one gallon and runs 10 hours without draining your batteries.

My Webasto has been pretty good over the last 4 years. Did have to fix it last winter, but it has died again. Webasto is sure proud of their parts based on what they charge.
I decided to cut thru the clutter and replace mine in total. I got a Webasto Airtop 2000 STC unit, complete install kit in the box, 2016 manufacture, for $918, delivered free. They also had the Webasto Thermo Top C coolant heater kit for the same price. Still seriously considering that one.Rubberduckin Thanks this. -

I got new 1000 amp batteries total of four of them...that bunk heater runs a full break plus without skipping a beat...and the batteries were actually $50.00 cheaper then 925 amp ones, also the truck turns over in freezing temps like a superman under the hood. It's well below freezing here tonight, and I'm loving my bunk heater n 1000 amp batteries, I can't believe the difference . I'm gonna have to give that mechanic at the Loves a hug next time I see him. No getting up in middle of the night to start truck up...lol

Last night it got down to 20°F in OKC. I got a great night's sleep without idling. Cracked the vent by my head for fresh air, had two comforters, and wore a knit cap.
In the morning I started the truck and got back under the comforters until warm air started blowing, made my coffee, and got ready to roll. My alarm clock went off as I was putting it in gear. I love my job. Usually wake up refreshed and wanting to get the truck rolling as soon as possible.Rubberduckin and Rusty Trawler Thank this.
