I'd say, on the last load of your last day, instead of dumping it where he wants it...drive to the office, back up to his front door, dump the load, leave the trailer raised (we don't want it collecting water, now do we)...walk up to the window, scream "was that fast enough #######?", tell him he's number one, toss the keys on top of the pile, hop in your vehicle and drive off.Lepton1, Grubby, dngrous_dime and 4 others Thank this. -
motocross25 Thanks this.

Give him what he gives you. He gives you crap, give it back, and worse than he gave it. I had a boss like that when I was in my early 20's. He'd come in the shop and start busting my chops as soon as he saw me. No saying Hi, Good Morning, F@#$ you, nothing. He'd just start ragging on me. And he gave me no respect at all. Finally one day, he caught me in a foul mood, and I snapped back. I didnt get loud or make a scene, just said what what I was thinking in a firm manner. His eyes about popped out of his head, he stepped back and smiled. "I've been waiting for this" he tells me. He proceeds to tell me that this was his way of teaching me to grow a set and stand up for myself. From that day forward, he treated me like a son. Gave me a lot of guidance in my younger days, and paid me well. Prior to that, I'd just quietly do my job no matter what, and not complain. Now, I voice my opinions and frustration when needed, and people listen.
I've since moved on from that company, mostly because I wanted to drive truck. But the lessons he taught me have served me rather well. -
There's a difference between standing up for yourself and being an a-hole. Being an a-hole gets you fired, standing up for yourself gets you respect.
Airborne, slim shady, Lepton1 and 5 others Thank this. -
If hearing a potty mouth offends you, maybe you could work on the set of Sesame Street.
Or... maybe not. -
