Not hard, your over thinking it. You get 3 trys anyway. So just go, you should pass, but if you do fail then you know what to expect next time.

It's easy; just memorize the answers; there's not that many.

Look at both websites and the answers are there.

If you look at the "Free Iowa CDL Practice Test" website, the actual test is on there. Click on the tests you want to take and practice taking the tests. When you go to the DMV in person you will already know the answers and the actual test questions.

You can download a copy of the Iowa CDL Manual free from that website.

I am currently studying as well for the inevitable tests I will need to take. I downloaded the CDL manual from the DMV website, and inserted the pages into plastic sheets I got at Walgreens so I could highlight onto it as I read. I also found http://driving-tests.org/ has been what I feel to be an amazing resource for practice tests. The only reason I like it so much is that it lets you pick your state to study it in particular instead of a more broad test. Some of the question on a generic testing website you might not even see. I do think the tests on this site as well are quite good, I have been taking them as well.

I have been taking the General Knowledge test (50 questions), Hazmat (25 questions), Air Brakes (25 questions) twice a day for about 2 months now. Maybe overkill, but I would rather be prepared..lol. I am going to start adding in the doubles and triples test here in the next couple of days. If you follow this advice of the others on this post so far also you will be just fine I think.

I have been mentoring a young man now for about 3 weeks. I have been asking him questions on the material in the commercial drivers handbook. Last night before church we were in a local café going over this material. I feel he is ready to go take the tests. He is going to DMV tomorrow. Yes he gets nervous and don't take tests well, but I have made sure he knows the material and I think he will do fine. I told him he gets a meal at longhorn on me when he gets his permits.

I used the CDL tests on here to study for GA test and I failed thought I could nail every one of the tests on here.

Once I went to http://www.cristcdl.com/ and studied those test and was able to answer pretty much all of them I went in and passed my test. There is some questions I saw on the GA test that I hadn't seen anywhere.
