He seems to like them fine.
Unless you get real lucky, you’ll start out on nights.
And, unless you have experience, you’ll go work with a trainer for a few weeks.VIDEODROME Thanks this. -
Their drivers up here in Athens seem to like it...BUT, they all say the company has a very "corporate" feel to it. Safety man always looking over your shoulder. Safety meeting like every other week, etc. FRT was one of the 1st companies I interviewed for when I was trying to get into tanker work. I got a bad vibe during the interview. I was offered the job, but never followed up with them.

30 years ago they were the lowest of all tanker companies ( Jax Fla) so I hope they have improved

Ones in charlotte must be hourly....never seen them get in a hurry

They seem to make decent weekly pay, but those salaries reported seem awfully low

I had a neighbor in Florida did fuel for them . He liked them alright.

A friend of mine once worked for FR. He said that's an astronomical number for weekly pay. An FR is a 3rd party carrier so it's more like 55k-62k he said depending on what area your in.

I used to haul fuel additives out of Fairburn GA and the FRT driver that loaded there always seemed happy. If you can get a on dedicated ethanol or something that does stop pay like fuel additive you will do well.
