How long can you drive when regen light is flashing

The more you drive the worse it’ll spot up/longer it’ll take.
Flashing i’d say 45-1.5 hours then red light and you’ll be creep mode/limp home 5mph.

 

Pull down your sun visor. The regen directions are there.

 

If the A-1 box is out, it won’t go into regen and your screwed, it will derate. Each time you shut the ignition off and turn it back on progresses it more rapidly to a derate. I’m my Experience once you get the second warning on the dash usually the red dot, you’ve got about 100 miles. And the last 50 of those 100 miles will be at 55 mph no faster. Sometimes you can get a little more. Face reality and deal with it my friend. Or you’ll be paying for a $2000 tow job on the side of the freeway.

 

It's only taken 25 minutes maximum for any tractor I have drove to complete a regen. Place your triangles if you have to pull over onto the shoulder.

 

It should be regenning during normal drive, so if it isn't, there are probably bigger issues that a manual regen isn't going to fix. Are there any codes? I know if the EGR fails, it will soot up and it can't/won't regen.
