first set of ecopias were at 175000 and still had some left but hit some crap in a parking lot and got a flat so changed both this set has about 30000 and there starting to break up a little bit ... little pieces of tread breaking off ... going to take them in to get looked at .... sure they will say road hazard so will see .. it's not down to the wear line on any of them places but around 10 spots on each tire

So what causes that? Bad shocks, since tire bounces up and down going down the road?

man, I really don't know. Some people say it's just Goodyears that do this, but I don't think it's true. That said, after I started running Yokohama's, the problem has gone away. Make sure you get a good alignment and the tires are properly balanced. After that, who knows........

150,000 on a set of Michelin XDS2 pulling 140,000 lbs.
Best ever was 440,000 miles on Goodrich DR444 pulling dry van averaging 24,000 lbs.

Run cheap china tires and you probably will be changing them yearly. Especially doing heavy work. If you get half the mileage of a first line tire your doing good.

Bad tires. Had a pair of michelin steers do this. They blamed my truck and after the truck passed alignment they said I parked in diesel fuel. Funny how the replacements are wearing perfectly. Solution is next time buy Chinese because quality and warranty is the same as brand name Michelins are overrated junk.
