I just don't get the slow no care attitude. I like to run hard during day and get done at decent time and have few extra hours at night then chat up people at the counter or stop and fiddle faddle. I ran with a guy from oor company once and never again. Took our 30 that passed so gave benefit of doubt but after an hour passed I was gone and he caught up about hour behind me and said Yea I decided to chill for few hours and check out strip mall across the street. If I was done for the day Yea I might do that but not while it's burning my 14.

Enough time to fill up the tanks, wash windows, check oil, Mabey 5-10 mins at best.

10-15 at the most, assuming I can get to a pump.

I've waited, fueled, pulled forward and left before while trucks just sat there . . . driver nowhere in sight, or in the bunk . . . at the pump.

I was at a Loves in WV yesterday where they had 3 lanes closed while a guy pressure washed the concrete. The line I choose moved pretty good. Fuel, window wash, pull up. Go. One lane had the same truck in it from when I was 2nd in line f or my lane and was still there when I pulled out...never saw the driver. Place was a cluster ####..... took about 30 minutes... usually 15-20 I was hating it for the guy behind that truck...he didn't look very happy....

That seems rather counter-productive if you want them to free up space. ;)

Without reading any responses..I fuel-get my receipt at fuel desk-and either leave or park it..I know.Weird, right? If someone in front of me decides to do a Level1 inspection,a full course dinner, and of course a follow up shower.."we" have the "talk". Haven't had my ### kicked yet and really..Those folks in my mind are so stupid AND lazy "they" are a LOT of things but dangerous? Nope. But alas..As I am getting a bit "long in the tooth" I will keep you posted on my ### whuppin..:)

I'd say it's just like sex, it takes some guys a LOT longer to find the nozzle.

We tag team it... One does the truck fuel, the other our fuel (coffee)... The coffee person gets the receipt, the fuel person walks the dog once they pull up... Load up, and roll out :)
