how many cars can c4500 haull?

    So the GVWR sticker is 19500 LB
    The trailer is Mini 6 car. gvwr is 48,000LB

    How do I calculate the payload?

    19,500+48,000=67,500 GCWR

    Will the truck be able to pull?

    Googled and found a pdf of the spec sheet.

    Aw crap, just looked at it again and that was for a 2005 model. Sorry!

    The GCWR depends on the trailer?
    if the truck is rated at 19,500LB.
    and hooked up to a trailer that is rated for 48,000LB
    That would give me 67,500 GCWR. GVWR+GVWR trailer

    In terms of strength, I think there is no problem. The issue is how the engine and transmission going to pull. How do I calculate that and find out?

    That's not how it works. The towing vehicle has a GCWR, it doesn't matter if the trailer can carry more, you're limited to the max GCWR of the towing vehicle. I would get on Chevy's fleet site, you'll find the full specs.
