Possible log edit job taking pretrip time and editing it back to offduty to gain time for the drive clock.

That's how I did it too. I rarely have to now but I always liked a day off. Run hard and run smart if that's what you need to do.

Ok but my question would be why post that you break the law. Or does he just run Cali? Ok wait, he could have ran past midnight and not broke the 11 part. Funny I've seen 700+ on my hard days. But I was doing split sleeper and getting paid for a team.

I try to park up at receivers so I can log my pretrip and unloading at the same time. 35 to 40 minutes never had an issue yet

Depends how fast your truck is, but 500-600, every day, makes a great check.

Depends on what type of trucking...flatbed usually averages about 450 to 500 miles per day. If its a two day or more run where your not loading or unloading on that day, you'd average the typical 650 miles or so.

It depends on how fast your truck can go and where you drive with 70 - 75 MPH speed limits. You won't drive very far in the east coast with the traffic and 35 MPH construction zones.

In a uhaul. Boston MA to Saint Louis MO ( appx 1200 miles) before I threw in the towel. Only stopped for fuel . moved a friend to Graham Texas. Spent 6 months there before I took greyhound home. Greyhound took too many days stopping in every urban dump imaginable
