Yeah Jon, 1.8 million give or take. I count my blessings everyday, and despite the vicissitudes of life, I've certainly had my off days with sublime analysis of how in the world did I dodge THAT bullet. If we had more responsible, better trained 4-wheelers and their handlers, this world would be a much better place to drive and enjoy. But let's face it, we are sitting ducks in the eyes of the DOT henchmen, and they can't resist flexing their muscles when a nice quiet word would suffice. Therefore, yet again, we all go out there into the belly of the beast and show everyone, how good and courteous we are.
We should be proud of what we do and what we have to endure. Professional and accomplished despite the aggravation.
    Good luck

    Lilbit and scottied67 Thank this.

I should be pretty close now if I'm not already there. Just saw this morning I have 550,000 Con-way line-haul miles, had 220,000 otr miles, and did three years of p&d here where I was runnng about 300 miles per day which probably totaled a minimum of 70,000 per year. If I'm not there I'm close. Next month will be 11 years of driving with no accidents or moving violations..

Between 55 passenger buses and big rigs, 3 different companies I have 1.275 million safe miles, no tickets or accidents since Nov. 2002. Starting back into the industry next month after not driving otr since I became a widower in Apr. 2006.

Over 20 years this stretch, 1 speeding ticket,in Ohio and caught me comming down a hill. Back in the days of the 55 mph, and 2 incidents, replaced a crack windsheild, Swift calls that a incident, and hit a very large dog about 10 years ago. I think that I am about 2 million now.

I am still a rookie. I got 250,000 military miles (don't count), and 50,000 commercial miles. My company truck that I am using however just hit 1,000,000 miles. I had to pull over to snag a pic. Hopefully in about 8 or 9 years from now I will join your ranks. Goodspeed!!!
