    Rookie.

I took out a bus full of nuns, high on meth - and Western Express still took me.

    :)

That was a technicality. When the prosecutor asked who was killed, they said "nuns," but he heard "none." You got SO lucky. And now you have a great career at WE. Someone's gonna take that horseshoe out one day, though.

Too many variables for anyone here to give you a good answer. What kind of violations, how long ago, the differing qualifications needed to get on with Swift, etc. Best answer, talk to a recruiter, tell them, honestly, the history and let them give you an answer. If they say No, wait a month and try again.
I have a buddy who try to get rehired with Swift. He's a good guy, but a young kid (24) and had a bit of job hopping issue and wasn't as rigorous at HOS stuff as he probably should be. Boy likes to run and run hard. Anyway, after a couple of months of No, not qualified to be rehired, one day they called him and offered. He's back at Swift now for a couple of months and doing OK so far. He is getting better with HOS stuff. But, he's a work in progress. Point being, I think what they will accept for less than perfect driving record will vary around a bit depending on whatever factors they pay attention to at the time.
