I take zero from em ...especially desk top boneheads that have never been in a truck .
My favorites are the ones that lie and are to stupid to know drivers make friends with each other and compare notes.
    What say you ? .

I was in Batesville, IN a few back during the winter. Wife was with me. Started snowing and got bad quickly. Pulled off at the rest area there. Parked. I worked for a mega back then so they had the truck shut off after 5 mins of ideling. But they had apu units. Well, just so happened that my apu went out on me. I called the night moron. "Well, it's Sunday night and you chose to shut down, so we can't get anyone out to you. So, you will just have to suck it up," he told me.

Told him easy for him to say cause he was in a nice warm office. Then he went off on how I signed up for this and he served in Iraq without an apus, and I had it easy according to him.

Told him to transfer me to safety. He refused. They had all their calls at night route to dispatchers and then they transferred you. I hung up and called again. Kept getting the same moron. Kept calling back.l and getting the same bonehead. Eventually, I fell asleep. Luckily I had my wife to share body heat with and we had 4 thick blankets. If not for that I dont know if we would had survived.

Nope. It was a 2010 International. No bunk heater. Everything ran off the apu.

Ha you are working for the wrong people. If I ever have any problem like that then the folks back in the office will do whatever it takes to fix things.

I too work for a Mega Company, maybe not all of JB Hunt is super supportive of drivers but with the account I am on I never have to even worry about things like that.

My standard comeback to d'bag operations people is "you drive the desk, I drive the truck. I've never seen a news report where a desk crash caused any deaths, so when you want to trade jobs, let me know...any chimp can sit behind a desk, punch buttons and fling poo, but they haven't taught them to drive these things"....*click. If they call back with attitude again...hang up, and keep hanging up until their attitude improves.
