No, you won't make $60K + with no endorsements and sitting in a truckstop hoping your dispatcher finds a load for you, or you work for Werner on a Dollar General account or CR England as a lease driver. You should enter the trucking job market prepared or you won't see those $50K - $60K + jobs. Many times on this forum new drivers ask for direction in this career & experienced drivers give them step by step plans; then a couple months later the same people are back on here posting how CR England ruined them or some other mega company. They were hard headed and ignored every suggestion the experienced drivers gave them and did just the opposite of what was recommended. But, that's their call; they asked questions; dozens of drivers answered their questions & then they decided to ignore and go their own way for whatever reasons. That's their business though. This forum is designed to exchange information & what we do with the information is personal choice.

Well, that sunshine injection in the posterior that recruiters give the wannabes is really hard for some to resist. You can warn them not to take the sunshine injection, but you're just a truck driver, and this guy is a recruiter...he has to know the business better than any truck driver, right? You tell them that after the hot beef injection follows the sunshine injection, and they don't listen, "But the recruiter said I will have a home, and be a part of a family. I want to belong, to be needed, to be respected."

Next its, "What happened? Why does my backside hurt? Why won't anyone hire me? Someone get me a tissue!!!"
