You guys were right on the money. It's definitely a lot of physical labor with maybe 1.5 hours of driving. Thankfully I'm training on a mix of a bulk and c-store route. So I'm getting experience in both.
Backed into 4 docks yesterday and had 3 c- stores to maneuver in an out of.
It's not bad at all. All the c-store products are on u-boats so you just roll it off the truck onto the lift gate, then into the store.
Bulk routes are taken off with an electric pallet jack. Only 1 store has to scan every item! That sucks. -
That's how the Budweiser distributor in Naples Florida does there convient stores - all on you boats. It's a good idea until you get an account u have to two wheel the entire order to fit
