Just turn in the truck in good shape and ready for the next driver. If they take you to court over any issues then look up the case they just lost for the Miss classification of lease drivers last year. Take that in the court with you and you will walk away scot-free

You could just turn it in and avoid losing anymore money. Not against the law. But they will ding your credit and if for any reason in the future you decide to try this lease thing again anywhere else, this episode will follow you. Somebody may offer you a deal, but the big companies sure won’t

Your the 10,000 driver to go broke leasing
With swift. They go through this everyday.
Raise the white flag and take the truck back
To the terminal where you hopefully have a
Vehicle of your own parked there.
Clean it all up and turn everything in.
If you do another lease somewhere else and go
Broke again,then you deserve it.
It's called a fleece for a reason.

Do what everyone else said. Just be a company driver. If it dings your credit, it's no big deal. It's for your own good. It keeps you from doing anything stupid going forward. Its shame in being a company driver. You'll make more money doing that than you will leasing. The only shot you have to make it leasing, especially if you're barely getting paid a dollar and change a mile is run lots of miles....probably teams. If it's a solo, its going to be extremely difficult to make any money.
Upinsmoke and TruckingSince21 Thank this.
