I'm a pretty good weight and my metabolism has already slowed down. I just drink only water and not much else. I guess I dont eat that much food. Since I dont pack a lunch (local) I pretty much end up fasting the first 8 hours of my shift since it's not always easy to find a restaurant.

This is a topic where if I did not stop myself I could easily write several thousand words. I won't. Way too complicated. A type 2 diabetic can't just stop eating. A good friend of mine went into DKA and had to be rushed to the ER on Monday night, she got home about 12 hours later. There are other health issues that can become more and more of an issue as we age. If we were talking about 10 to 20 pounds I would say make some adjustments and exercise more. Much more then this get under a physician's care if you can.

This is how I feel about Driver's and their health. The average driver does not burn a lot of calories while driving. Yet said driver consumes sugary drinks (even diet colas can cause weight gain) and snack as they drive. Then goes into a truck stop and orders a big mac or a whopper. No way around this. Losing weight as a driver like every other human is understanding it is how much you eat, what you eat and when you eat it. This is why I recommend getting under a physician's care if you are more then 40 pounds overweight.

When I retired I was close to 100 pounds overweight. I am no longer that heavy. I also today have normal Blood Pressure without pills. Unfortunately, I am now having to take insulin because my body will no longer work with Metformin. However, my insulin dose is much smaller than it once was.

    Ok.

    Drink only water
Eat fruit for breakfast and snack on fruit throughout the day
No pork(I don't eat pork or red meat)
    No candy
    Don't eat after 7:30 pm
Do cardio. Start of my doing as many jumping Jack's as you can. Try to build up to Atleast 300 jumping Jack's a day
