Hey guys, I have been an otr flatbed driver for over two years now. I have a clean record and I am looking to get into hauling refrigerated food because I want to get into something that is more stable during a recession than flatbed. What are some of the best paying refer jobs for experienced drivers who dont mind being on the road for extended periods of time? Thank you for help
How to make the most money as a company refer driver?

Trucking companies go by the address on your cdl to determine if the address is in their hiring area.
Those two I listed are ok. I'll find some more. -
Chinatown is right, your CDL has a address on it. That decides many things such as hiring area.
You don't worry about what you make, you spend less than what you MADE last week, every week. The rest goes into the pile. Eventually you will have mountains of it.
The morning of 9-11 destroyed our payroll people. A third party group. So with them gone, we were offered unemployment and sit home. No we had about 14000 cash on hand and that was what we rolled on for a few months.catdog45 Thanks this. -
My cdl is from Louisiana. I have looked into some refer companies and found that a lot of them do not advertise their pay. Is that typical? Is there any particular segment of the refer industry that is known to be the most lucrative?
