This is where our opinions differ. If he can prove he has actual experience meaning someone could call an employee or employer he can gain employment with a small carrier whos not picky on felonies. I got this from an insurance company as I wanted a quote for myself to see what the premiums were for myself.

he still HAS NOT answered the single most important question..
"who told him he HAD TO WAIT 7 years BEFORE he can re-obtain his CDL"??

who told him that...?? the DMV..?? maybe so, because now he wants to go out of state to get one.. does he think his past WILL NOT catch up with him when (the other state) RUNS a check on him..???

and by the way, in your sig..??

    i think it's NANA.....NOT Nona

There is a person on this website who went to Swift Academy by Nona. Chances are I have met Nana in Casa Grande Walmart DC. Now whoever told him he had to wait was wrong per what I have found. Did he call Carolina Cargo??

ok, i really thought you meant NANA....

don't matter who HE CALLED, he has NO CDL, and was told he HAD TO WAIT 7 years...did you NOT read that..???

he needs to tell us who told him this....he could be "in effect" BANNED from getting a CDL, and IF SO, that'll be in the CDLIS system....meaning, he's TOAST......

Given that the OP did not have a CDL at the time he committed his felony, all of that is irrelevant. Until he gives more detail regarding the alleged seven year delay all of the posts in this thread are only so much mental... gymnastics.

Perhaps it is a condition of his probation... only the shadow knows.

I will concede that there are a few felony crimes which are pure bull****. If I'm not mistaken, carrying my 18 round Marlin .22 into New Jersey would put me at risk of a felony for possessing an assault weapon because it holds more than 15 rounds. I can see where some unsuspecting Joe might innocently bring his peashooter to NJ and be popped for a felony.

So help us to truly "understand" the nature of your felony. Is it something like that? I'm guessing since this just recently happened, it hasn't even gone to trial yet?
