    Ok... so then that leaves another question. If it was reduced to simple battery, then he was not convicted of a felony--so why report it as such? Sounds like he was charged with a felony and convicted for a misdemeanor.

    Most likely, he had a lifetime revocation, which can end at 10 years, and 3 years is aleady gone.

    hence the 7 year wait .






    minor felony, plead out to a misdemeanor.......
