Probably has never used a cat scale when loaded heavy... when I worked in food service the motto was ..."Load it like freight train schedule it like airplane."

Man people sleeping on AAA COOPER DONT TELL ANYONE LOL.. I GOT OFFERED A DEDICATED TEAM DRIVING POSITION 6K MILES A WEEK 5 DAYS ON 2 DAYS OFF PAYING $0.86 CPM OUT OF ATLANTA. HAD AN INTERVIEW AND THE TERMINAL MANAGER SAID THE JOBS YOURS IF YOU WANT.

I TEAM DRIVE WITH MY WIFE BUT THEY ORIGINAL SAID THEY WOULD MAKE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR OUR PET AND THEN THEY WENT BACK ON THEIR WORD SO UNFORTUNATELY I COULDN'T TAKE THE POSITION.

I WISH I COULD HAVE BUT WE HAVE A CAT AND HAVE NO ONE TOO HELP US WATCH HER OR YOU KNOW FEED HER EVERY DAY ECT..

I DIDNT WANNA LET A STRANGER IN MY HOUSE EITHER WHEN IM NOT THERE.

BUT ANYWAYS THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY I SPOKE WITH A FEW TEAM DRIVERS THERE THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT THERE AND SAID I WOULD TOO THEY WERE SUPER HAPPY AND IN GOOD SPIRITS.

    SOMETIMES I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE A PET.

I APPLIED AT XPO LOGISTICS TEAM DRIVING THEY PAYING $0.87 CPM IVE NEVER SEEN XPO POST TEAM DRIVING POSITIONS. I TALK TOO RECRUITER TOMORROW SEE WHAT SHE SAYS.

I ALSO APPLIED AT DAYTON FREIGHT AND SOUTHEASTERN FREIGHT FOR SOLO LINEHAUL POSITIONS. MY EIDE DOESN'T WANNA TEAM DRIVE ANYMORE SHE WANTS TOO HE HOME DAILY. I DONT BLAME HER WE BEEN OTR FOR 5YRS IM OVER IT MYSELF HONESTY.

SO WE WILL SEE WHO CALLS BACK FIRST AND HIRES FIRST THATS WHERE ILL WORK I SUPPOSE. SEFL I LIKE BUT THEY KINDA FAR BUT DAYTON WOULD BE IDEALISTIC BECAUSE LITTLE CLOSER TOO MY HOUSE IN DALTON, GA AND THEY ONLY HAUL 53FT TRAILERS WHICH IS NICE.. WE WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

WHY THE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS? IT READS LIKE YOU’RE YELLING.

Please don’t yell. It hurts my ears.

Ya, cooper is lame in that regard.

No pets, and no ride alongs. I tried to get upper management to let me take my wife for my Linehaul runs on the weekend and we’d signs. Legal waiver but still no.

mean while swift drivers can have pigs/farm animals in their trucks

    Speed_Drums and Cardfan89 Thank this.

Im sorry you had a similar situation with AAA COOPER as did i. I was trying too find knight or swifts ceo phone number or email. Tried getting some upper management from mothertrucker alex off youtube since he interviewed the big wigs at knight/swift transportation but i called knight and they said they have no control over their sister companies they dont interfere, they want those companies such as abilene , us express, AAA Cooper too operate the way they found them.

So basically theres nothing we can do about it. So i even tried finding the ceo of Aaa cooper email or something but he recently sold the company for like 1-4 billion dollars but they said he still works there but you wouldn't know he ls a billionaire.

I didnt understand like why knight owns all these companies and they all allow pets and a rider policy but this one ltl company is the only one you cant add these simple policies too makes no sense. But i guess it is what it is.

I really did want too work there it seemed like stupid easy money . The economy isnt great nor is it going too get better so me and my wife decided too stick it out and weather the storm with fedex ground team driving. Then maybe ill go solo or we will switch careers all together.

Stay safe out there hope all is well .

I heard XPO recently started a team division. Probably overwhelmed by the amount of Yellow freight they onboarded and need a way to shuffle freight through quicker.

I was thinking the same as well. The recruiter never responded back about the pet policy i already assumed it being ltl its an automatic no for pets but websites say xpo does allow pets with a deposit fee of 500$ but i already going with a fedex ground contractor guaranteed 2000$ a week for being available to work 6 days which is fine with me.

With the economy and freight being slow especially with fedex the last 2 yrs i think guaranteed pay will get me through the bad times that are about too come..

Almost all LTL carriers have team division at this point. I just wonder why OD sleeper trucks are single crew. So weird. lol

Guess the trucks are cheaper with one axle less lol jk. Idk ive never driven a single screw tractor but from what i heard they suck.. yes mostly all ltl has teams but xpo didn't until now. Maybe they had years ago when they were Conway but this is new to xpo as far as i understand. Did OD TURN THERE TRUCKS UP THEY ALWAYS PASS ME GOING 70MPH NOW.
