I always ran team in a twin screw but spent 20 plus years in a single axle. I suspect they are rougher to sleep in than a tandem. @blairandgretchen spent the better part of a decade running team at OD. I believe OD uses a longer wheel base which should help. Were the single axles rougher to sleep in than a tandem Blair?

As far as I know OD never runs long boxes on linehaul, only pups. Not much need for a twin screw there.

My friend teamed at OD. He pulled a 53 from Rialto Ca to Indy. Happens rarely though.

I’m not sure if we’re running twin screws or a single screw on our team trucks, soon as I either find out or see one I’ll let y’all know.

OD used to run twin screw but now they're all single for teams. I don't feel like I sleep uncomfortable in them, but then again it's been 8-9 years since I slept in a twin screw team truck.

All OD teams and most daycabs are governed at 65, but a fair amount of our daycabs are governed at 68 or 70 depending on the run they're assigned on. If you're doing 600+ mi on a linehaul turn you're taking a 70 truck.

On occasion we will pull a 48' or a 53', but for relocation purposes. I guess Wabash builds the trailers in Mexico and they make their way to Rialto. Then they're filled with freight and driven to their assigned terminal. I've pulled a couple 48's on such an occasion, and lemme tell you that's when sleeping gets uncomfortable. Over bridges and bumps the long box whiplashes the cab and wakes your ### up.

Trucks are assigned to the run at OD rather than the driver?

    No, thank you.

Always hearing that it's slow but now it finally hit me. Peak season but I got a run cancel yesterday and today pulling empties around. Since I do Chicago runs, i always thought I would never be slow.
