Should be automatically applied anytime you add a boarding pass. Be prepared to be disappointed though. They close those pre-check lines on weekends all the time. I’ve skipped down to a separate terminal before to avoid the standard line.
-
It probably depends on the airport, but I've never waited more than 5 minutes even at some of the busiest airports in the country.
Even if there was a line, the real value for me is getting to keep my shoes on and using the regular metal detector instead of that 360 body scan thing.hotrod1653 Thanks this. -
You DO avoid the “cancer curtains”.
O’Hare closes them all the time on weekends. I’ve walked back outside and taken the rail to the next terminal more than once. -
I plan on trying mine out next time I fly commercial. I’m the only one in my family with it, so I can laugh while they get the pat downs. Lol
-
I did not know this. Thats awesome . Going to tell my wife she flys way more then i do shes also a driver or well used to be lol.
Anyways just updating you i got the job offer at OD for team driving position. Already did my drug screen, signed my offer letter. Just waiting for HR service to set me up with a physical and road test. Also waiting for background check to clear for a start date for orientation.
I talked to you about i haven't driven stick shift in over 5yrs i told them i was rusty they said dont worry about it. They said they will give me a refresher course for 2-4wks if i need that long so thats cool of them to invest money into training for me i value that.
I imagine this whole process will take a few months before i actually run my first week. So ill keep you updated on my journey at OD..Texas_hwy_287, hotrod1653 and jmz Thank this. -
You'll be fine. I hate driving manuals but as long as you know the basics you'll get it back in no time.
-
True yeah i know the basics for sure but i never was great at it just enough to pass my driving test haven't used one since in over 5yrs lol..
They said they will give me 2-4 week refresher course on manual so i should #### near be a pro by then lol.. jk ill atleast be confident i can drive a manual safely and efficiently i suppose. It will give me the confidence i need for it to become second nature. -
Trust me you'll be fine. As long as you know the basics you'll get it back. I simply prefer automatics UNLESS I'm on a serious grade. Manuals are a life saver in that scenario.MACK E-6 Thanks this.
-
Yeah ive heard for down grades manual is the way to go. I've never drove a manual down a steep down grade or steep up hill just flat ground mainly so thats new too me..
