Evidently, I'm doing and going about it wrong. I've never brought home more than $680 a week. That's going out, team driving X 2-1/2 months OTR. That's without taking out the medical insurance.

I let myself get suckered into staying on the truck with my trainer for Winter training. So I didn't upgraded. Also because of the same? My 8 months of driving doesn't count towards my 9 months contractural obligation. And won't until I upgrade. That's not going to happen for another two and half months.

Prime is getting supremely sleazy. Don't like it.
As a team driver at Prime. You should have made 1400 a week or more. You got ripped, big time.

The "trainer" I'm with wants me to continue team driving with him, at $1,000 a week.

However I'm at home for a prolonged period of time due to medical issues (job related) and won't be back for another two and half months.
    Soooooo,

    I'm exploring my optiond, .........

I never brought home less than $900 a week as a company driver there, you must be doing something wrong. A lot depends on your FM, stay away from regional as company, you will sit more than you drive, and stay away from leasing. Think of leasing as leasing an apartment, once the lease is up you move out or get another lease, you will never own it. If you are new to the industry, learning to drive and learning to run a business at the same time is a disaster. Also don't go by what people tell you they gross, as them what they net, and if their net is after taxes. Most of the lease folks at Prime make about what a company guy does after averaging it out over a year.
