It was nuts this morning! I loaded in Greenville PA and headed right back into Ohio and hit a white out on 422.

Yup. Most every area is anymore. Thats why I drive at night. Of course this week and last I have been doing some daytime crap. It has taken it’s toll. Next week I’m back on nights.

I saw more of that dashcam video on another youtube post. After he hit that other truck, he was almost instantly hit from behind multiple times. I don't think that was the Swift truck from the video of the douchbag worrying about his Charger. That Swift's drivers side front end was crushed almost to the door.

Squals last Saturday from milton pa to Hubbard, ranged anywhere from light snow to whiteouts ....few had brains enough to slow down in the whiteouts .

Every time any kind of weather comes a dang pileup will happen, I think people just don't give a #### personally. When I start my truck the radio comes on and its set to WX weather channel by default, so I listen to it.

To all those drivers involved in that mess-
well done geniuses-you’ve now officially become an attorney(s) wet dream come true!!
    (note that I’m being sarcastic)
There’s going to be so much litigation from this some of these folks great great great grandchildren will need lawyers!!!!
And I guarantee you some of these drivers have just forfeited their careers, and possibly their licenses along with it-all because some dumb***** had to play super trucker in a f’n snow squall!!!
And a few lost far worse!!
You had ONE JOB-ONE JOB TO DO!!!
ADAPT TO THE CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS!!!

I dont even waste my time or take a chance driving in weather like this.

No matter how good a driver you are that doesn't change the fact someone else can lose control and go sliding into you.

Of course this is powerful upsetting to someone who is already pixxed off with the industry. Again and again, this confirms how disconnected the driver is to the conditions. Same old thing, hammer down in the worst of conditions, and it doesn't end, so the people that habitually get caught up in these situations, clearly shouldn't be behind the wheel of a vehicle that can do that kind of harm. Since it's going unaddressed, for whatever reason, our society has adjusted to this just becoming the norm. Just like drug addiction, deal with it "after the fact", rather than prevention. There has to be a reason, and it boils down to money. These pileups reap big rewards, and it's painfully obvious, the drivers here need some kind of control, because they can't make the decisions themselves. It's just the cost of our modern society today, and we better get used to it.
