    Why can't they do this with all construction projects? Would it really be that much more expensive?

    It's amazing they can do this in a few days, but the nearby milling and paving project has been closing two lanes in each direction nightly for weeks.

    They didn’t have much choice! I-95 is a major highway artery between Florida and Maine. Plus in Connecticut there aren’t that many approved truck routes in that part of the state and the last thing they want or need is trucks running local roads tearing those up!
