Believe it or not the first company I was with there wasn't a truck with a straight set on it. I got in to one just a little bit that you couldn't even notice unless you knew what to look for. They're not as expensive as one would think. At least on the petes we had they weren't. I would recommend avoiding tight corners but you will get to where you know just how far you can go.

Thank you for that response I appreciate it very much. I have definitely learned from that a lot and I have become a much better driver as far as anticipating a turn or a u-turn or turn around. I get better every day you know I grow as a driver everyday I love this industry and I love being a driver it's a lifestyle that really suits me well

I think at the megas, a bent cab extender is a prerequisite in order to advance to a new truck. That's an indication that you have either backed up or have discovered the nuances of snow/ice driving.

You can't park and hit docks like this all the time. Sometimes you need to use the "R" hole ...

What happened with this is just something that will always stick with you every time you pull in a tiny Loves or pilot with a dead end lot. Sometimes you have to back out. But don't beat yourself up over it. I thought I was pretty good until I rubbed a pickup (yes just rubbed lol) backing in to a very tight customer in East St Louis. If a bent fairing is the only thing you've had in 5 months with a mega, you're doing pretty good.

It took me a gazillion time look at to realize what you meant. BPM b service. LOL

By the way you can go to the FMCSA website and for $10 you can see what's actually on your psp report. www.psp.fmcsa.dot.gov
I dont know how long it takes for a violation to show once received though.

You could just tell them you bent it because you were tired of being mistaken for a trainer and wanted it replaced.

you can actually get the PSP report for free under the "freedom of information act"

this way, it does take a while for the report to arrive, more so than if you pay for it. this may coincide with the report having any such points on him.

i usually go the "freedom act", but i stopped as i don;t have any PSP points. i jsut wanted to see for sure it was clean.

much like a DAC, always good to get your free copy once a year, to correct any mistakes that might be on that. before you find out at a possible new employer, they won't hire you.

    Annonymous and driverdriver Thank this.
