I have 3 years experience with no accidents on my MVR and nothing on my DAC report. Before Swift was acquired by Knight, I was bringing in $1,400 before taxes a week. Now I'm only bringing in $900 a week before taxes and that's with working 6 days a week. Anyone that's living in Georgia can you give me any recommendations on where to work. Thanks.

The classic. Get behind the wheel. There's nothing but you and the open road. This is what the majority of truckers out there are doing, and it works really well. Oh, and you'll receive a guaranteed pay raise every year, not to mention we do our very best to provide you with consistent miles and consistent home time.

So what changed because of Knight taking over?
How did the takeover change that account?

Dedicated account used to be a fixed rate. Now it pays a measley mileage.

Swift isn't meant to house a drivers career for the long run. Pack up and move out of the hood.

It's also a form of cutting costs.

As costs rises, you move on. Or eliminate debt etc. Or even vices that you engage in that drain money.

The more savings you can build with whatever pay you get each week at the end of next year you wont care what you make each week. Its just a number for the tax man.

Someone has to foot the bill for all the damage.
