Did you give them notice;
like say "I have an unforeseen family emergency,
a Funeral, Death in the Family,
and have to postpone my start date for a day?"

Did they send you a preplan? Hit the appropriate macro saying NO and list reason as personal. They cannot hit you for abandonment if you didn't accept the load. Now if you accepted the load and did not finish it-- well did you talk to your driver manager about the problem?

 

Ok, so it’s not on your DAC report but it’s just noted at Swift? I’m guessing there’s lots of people who go through training and the have a “sick relative” and bail. No offense but it probably sent some type of red flag.

Call a recruiter and explain the situation and see what they say.

If this was in 2015 why are you dealing with this now?

 

Did you give them notice - phrased as I stated above, or did you not?
Time gap is a long time, your reason is your own - post it or not.
But you need to give details on exactly how you phrased the statement that you needed "time off."
