Those two statements are why I'm nervous about you taking this gig. Will you find the defect before DOT and will you fight to be treated properly? Your problems at Schneider were solvable with one phone call. If for some inexplicable reason they weren't, I guarantee you that they would have been solved by going one level up - which you weren't willing to do.

And you weren't an OTR driver - you were National Dedicated which meant running local accounts at above the 'going rate' for the account. You could have switched to the DG/FD account, or Gerogia Pacific, or just gone OTR for two months and you'd be in a superior position that you are now.

Heck, I can almost guarantee you a job paying $1,800 a week running nights out of Green Bay.
