way back, when I was a tanker yanker (I hauled butane/propane) for a outfit in socal. I was picking up at the Lonestar refinery near Bakersfield.
it was in Dec and the Tule fog was out in force I was on 7th standard road. That road is straight with cotton fields on each side where I was
it was SO foggy that I couldnt even see the fog line on the side of the road even if I hung my head outside the window, so I said to myself "screw this im gonna take a nap" so, i moved the wheel a bit to the right and didnt feel a thing so yet again I said to my self "OH CRAP! im in the wrong lane!!" so I moved the wheel a bit more to the right I felt bumps like I was finally off of the road so I set my 4ways and crawled in the sleeper and took a nap I woke up about 4 hours later and saw that I was about 40feet in a cotton field and there was a line of power poles between me and the road HOW THE HELL didnt I hit one and go KAFREEKIN BOOM! I never will know
I got a story
