    I know that.
But I wasn't affirming or denying the aggressiveness of certain breeds or the stereotyping of them.

I was responding to a post by someone that tried to have it both ways.

LOL, so thugs have the pitbulls now?

They had rottreillers, and before that it was the doberman pincher...
Then somehow they worked in the Oakland Raiders...??

    Stoopid

And why we gotta have nice mellow gay dogs only?

The problem you will run into, is weight limits (pibbles are big) and city breed-specific ordinances. There is an instance of a trucker who stopped somewhere in KS with his pibble that was summarily removed, he was fined and the dog destroyed. Because a stupid city ordinance.

Tried to link a story about Bully breeds being #3 in best temperament but I failed. Dogs are tested by the American Temperament Test Society which tests hundreds upon hundreds of dogs of all breeds and American Pit Bull Terrier and other Bully breeds fall at #3 on the list of best temperament. You'll never hear that in the media, I guarantee it.

You guys are funny...quoting stats and stuff, like anyone knows YOUR dog...LOL

Ive had about 10 pits....all of them the awesomest loyalest smartest ever dogs...Half of them did have a crazy kill mode button vs other dogs...But I never tried to 'socialize' them and never took em anywhere..They have a couple acres, seems to be enough...

Im surprised you dont see em in those dog competitions...I have one now that i think could run the course, catch the frisbee over water etc etc..Then again, I guess there would be some static bringin em there...LOL!!

Often pits feel they have ALL the family k9 needs covered, thus no need for other dogs..I think its why mine dont play well with others
I have two twin sisters, one loves other dogs, one hates em

    A crazy kill mode button.
    Doesn't play well with others.
One love's, the other doesn't. (I know, your sisters, but... nature is nature, even with dogs)

The fear of these dogs isn't because of how they look or act in most normal circumstances, it is how they often attack for no apparent reason.

I gotta say that I am a kitty cat dude. I've always had a way with kitties and can even tame feral cats.

Claude and Peewee were my last 2 cats.
    I miss them.

They were both of an orange color, with a 'M' in their forehead.
    Much like Morris the Cat.

    Dogs are much too needy.
Cats are simply there for you, or not, as their needs require - or yours.
They are more empathic than dogs.
