@tommymonza .... was that at the Sarasota Quay?
I was trailering the Wellcraft and remembered hearing a few things at the docks. Just wondering.

So sad that most of you only know what you read, hear or see on tv. And we all know that everything the media does is on the up and up. They'd never do anything just for ratings or readership, lol. Scum bags fight Pitties, it's not the dogs fault. Thankfully most cities are starting to take back the BSL they have in place. I read about a new city or cities everyday and it's great. I have a bit more insight on these dogs than most as I also volunteer with an animal rescue called Animal Aid USA out of Jersey. Hundreds upon hundreds of dogs rescued, many Pits and never an attack. Not one attack from a scary, mean, ferocious stray Pit. You guys should get educated a bit before spewing stupidity. And that website, dogbite.org or whatever. Yeah, they don't have an agenda. If you believe a third of what you read on there then you are probably voting for Bernie and his fantasy land of free goodies, LMAO!!!!! A dog only acts the way it is raised. Eliminate the scum who raise and breed them to fight, the issue goes away. Funny how this whole line of crap started with dobermans, then rotties, moved to German shepards and now is at Pitties. Figure it out folks, there's always an agenda. Try not to believe everything the medai tells you. Educate, educate, educate. End of story. And Dakota, the only hate I have is for stupid people who don't know what they are talking about, yet try to argue citing so called facts that are total BS. But thanks for reading. EDUCATE!!!!

actually ANY dog is a liability. any dog can bite.

I used to have pits, love the breed. the dog catcher where I lived many years ago asked if she could take my pit to court once. they were in the process of trying to get mandatory ins laws for pits. she wanted to show how nice pits could be.
This was a stranger who was willing to take the dog without me and parade it around in a strange setting. wasn't a problem.
She was the biggest baby of a dog I have ever had.

now days I have an English bulldog and a boxer and a toy poodle AKA the boss. LOL

The bully is always the first to roll over for bellyrubs LOL

I gotta agree with dgman. Dogs are like people. How they are raised has more of an effect on how they behave than anything else. A friend of mine had a Rottie when we were growing up and he was the biggest suck ever. Same as my neighbour's German Sheppard. The worst dogs IMO are those little pint size wannabe dogs. They never shut up and they're mean as all heck. Of course since they're so small they can't really do much damage so most owners don't do anything to discourage that type of behaviour.

As long as I have Earl, my pet Mamba, in the truck, I feel safe from the pit bulls.

You see, most people think Mambas only think about killing you, but it depends on how they're raised.
Earl calmly stares at me 24 hours a day.
