I was in the hospital for one day and didn't report it; hernia surgery.
Many new drivers ruin a good trucking career by talking too much.
My friend is a Type 1 diabetic and has never listed it. He passes all his DOT physicals.
He carries his insulin and needles in a small lunch box and says he brings his own lunch.
He recently retired as a trucker and now living a pretty good life.

Of all the things to lie about... an overnight stay in the hospital?

I know the question is there, but is it really a red flag to anyone if you spent a night in a hospital?
I have had a few surgeries that required me to stay overnight, 2 were just knee operations. What is the big deal?

SERIOUSLY, STOP WITH THE ACTING SCARED STUFF.

YOU ARE GOING TO FACE A LOT MORE WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING THAN THIS.

YOU ARE NOT IN ANY TROUBLE, IF IT WASN'T AN OVERNIGHT STAY SEIZURES OR FAINTING, THEN DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT!

IF IT WAS FOR SIEZURES, THEN THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES WHICH YOU NEED TO ADDRESS FIRST AND YOU CAN'T DRIVE.

Right! He needs to put his family first and get that first trucking job. Several drivers have posted on here about quickly ruining a new career by blabbering too much.
I remember a female driver that went through cdl school, then was hired by a company. During orientation, she told the instructor she used to use drugs but quit several months ago and passed the drug test. She said she just had to tell someone because she lied about it before and her conscience is bothering her. She was promptly fired.
