Sure. I guess. I don't usually find it being an issue though when your delivery window is over 24 hours. And I don't think I'm out of line here saying I'm sure most of us don't do that on the delivery end

Now on the shipping end I do as @rickybobby said. I'm calling the majority of the time to make sure the load is ready. Especially if I haven't started my clock yet.

not that calling ahead always works if there are 500 people there and you talk to the one who doesn't know anything lol seems like a lot of places these days where nobody knows whats going on.

Today is mlk jr day but why would a business close for that? Today is also Winnie the pooh day. Maybe it's closed because of that!

Funny part was is most of the facility was there but they were having a BBQ for the workers and families. They weren't doing any receiving.

It worked out. They gave me enough to cover me dropping this at the Dallas OC and my run back to Athens for a short haul back to Dallas.

Wasn't going to make my appointement in Athens though so that got rescheduled until tomorrow...and that's fine because I had an open pickup in Wilmer tomorrow that won't be affected and I can still run.

    Home_on_wheels and scottlav46 Thank this.

Not to self: Dont do any more drop and hooks to Coscto. 3000 empties there and they won't release them. No wonder we are always searching for empties.

Which costco? The one down the road from the Dallas OC? Go inside the guard house and smack the schnieder guy around in there and then he'll release one to you. The guards wont unless you have permission from the schnieder employee that works there in the guard shack. He can be a power hungry prick at times though, LOL
