I have been accepted by USX, Western Express, MCT, and USA. I really want to do flat bed but TMC turned me down due to my age and Maverick turned me down cause of work history. Which of those companies would you go to?
I live in northern va and would like to get home every other weekend if not every weekend.
any advice is helpful.
I passed my CDLtest today.Which company to go to?

MCT isn't bad.I drove for them.USX has automatics.Which is ok I suppose but keep in mind if you decide to leave usx later on,you'll have to get retrained to learn the manual.

i talked to a few people about usx they said they are switching back to manuals. mct said .30 cpm home every other weekend and thier trucks are auto prostars

If it was me I would peruse the threads on this sight to get a feel for each company, I searched TTR for almost a year before settling on my current company, helped me weed out the bottom feeder companies that were more concerned with feeling a seat just my 2 cents
Puppage Thanks this. -

Roehl has a good flatbed division and gives training.
-
Also look at Howard Transportation, Melton Truck Lines, McElroy.

Millis transfer. They don't do flatbed but you will NOT be disappointed.

Congrats!
