I smoked weed once when I was in Colorado yesterday and I will take my CDL test next month....

    So I was in Colorado and I smoked weed last night one time and I don't plan on doing it again (literally it was just a one time deal). I decided to get into trucking and I have everything lined up and will take my permit test this Friday and by the end of next month I will take my CDL test. It was a one time deal last night because I was in Colorado and it was for the experience that is Colorado.

    Pee wise I will be fine in less than 2 weeks so I should be fine because I heard they only drug test before actual employment, even if it was right before I take my license test I should be fine for a pee test since it's at the end of next month. I live in Florida, the thing is I read some responses talking about a hair test? Does anybody know if this is common or rare? Like I said it was literally a one time thing and that's it, pee wise I will be fine but hair tests I know can be detectable for 3 months.

    So let me get this right, you were in Co. and it's legal there. So you just had to do it.. Even though you think you want to drive truck for a living,and then ask if this will hurt you...
    So let me ask you this... You know you got a pee test coming up and you then smoke a bowl, joint or whatever and ask this dumb question.
    That about as smart as going to a legal brothel in Nv. and going in and having sex with all the ladies there without any protection and then going home and asking, gee I wonder if there's a chance I might give something to my wife / girlfriend/ pet goat or whatever the case maybe..
    Real smart there.... Just because it's legal I can do it with no recourse
