I was thinking a good idea would be for truck stops to charge for parking but that the money would go for either a street sweeper or water truck to go around each day and clean the lot during the least busiest time. Do it daily or at least weekly would keep that putrid smell down to a minimum.

The way it is now thousands of gallons of dried urine bake all summer in the sun and then become reconstituted during a light rain starting the odor cycle all over again til the really heavier rains come along.

Charge for parking ah no I've been at places that charge for parking and they were actually worse than ones that didnt charge.

Im trying to understand why they sold the Pilot RoadRanger at exit 15B on I94 in Gary, IN to Steel City if they sold 26 locations to loves. Last i checked loves doesnt own steel city?

Noooooo they sold the flying J in gary to Loves. :( :( :( :( I went there to cash a comchek, since flying j was doing it for free. I had to pay $3. Oh well, pilot wouldve wanted $5.

If flying j starts charging the ridiculous check cashing fees that pilot does, i will no longer go there for anything but peeing. This is why i call it pee lot.

Atleast now maybe i can get 1000 gallons a month at loves and get free showers whenever i want them...

Before Pilot took them over, there were two Road Rangers at exit 15. There is a big Flying J and a big TA sandwiching the Road Ranger Steel City. Steel City usually has the lowest posted cash price on diesel fuel.

Also Pilot only took over the truck business and the point system was converted to Pilot, the Road Ranger fuel points have been retired.

They sell some Pilot merchandise, but many still have Road Ranger coffee and don't offer Pilot coffee, and the merchandise lines are mostly different as well,

Love's got the J at exit 9a at Gary,IN. It has already been changed to a Love's but I haven't had the chance to stop there yet.
