Driving 65 MPH 10-11 hours a day is hard enough for me. If I had to driver 55 MPH for a week, I would literally go insane. There is not enough bonus money in the world to subject myself to that method of driving.

Does it count as a pass if I was exiting off the highway and a prime driver pass me on the left?

I don't think those slowest Prime trucks need to stop until they reach the consignee, for breaks or 10's or anything. It seems to me they have found some sort of time-warp hole in that 55.7 MPH speed they operate at where time remains in suspension, but only for that particular piece of equipment, driver(s), and the product inside. I say this because I have never seen one of the slow trucks roll to a stop except at a shipper or receiver.

OMG, after I wrote this, it occurred to me that MAYBE these "slow" trucks are in fact operating at near light speed and it is merely a result of the laws of physics and time they are violating makes them APPEAR to be driving slow

I am just going to have to bite my tongue on this one. If I let out my opinion about prime it would be a very long post and I would fear the mighty "ban hammer" for days.

on the other hand, since I'm buying my own fuel, I roll mostly in the 60-65 range.....I see fellas pass me twice or three times a day......and I always wonder, "why they gotta stop so much?".

different stroke for different folks, I say.

Prime, on the other hand, I say, "Man, does everybody gotta drive that slow???" Good thing is, they put their name on the back of the trailer so you know you're gonna be passing somebody soon......mighty friendly, if ya asked me

I believe everyone has the right to drive whatever speed they wish to drive. As long as they don't do the 55.5 mile per hour truck passing a 55.4 mph truck and block up traffic for miles behind them.

Yes, and also the "the proof is in the pudding", in this case paychecks.
