    Ahhh, yes. The ketchup guy.

The industry, sir - is what you make of it. We've made out like slightly overweight, tired bandits.

Its definitely possible. I drive class B local. Started at $18 an hour with no eexperience. Monday to Friday, day shift, usually 45 to 50 hours a week. I Can get up to $22 an hour driving class B. I know of at lest 4 freight companies that start at $20 per hour but would have to work nights and weekends

Union spec jobs,.. union is virtually non existent in Fla. Only places you will make money like that is in large metro area,.. excluding Fla. Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Baltimore, La, SF, NYC area, Boston etc. But not in a place like Meridian Ms or Ocala Fla. Just not here.

I know good paying jobs exist. I was paid $21hr in 1989 to drive some beat up old trucks pulling various RGN trailers hauling heavy equipment and many over size over weight loads. I was originally hired on at $7hr driving his straight truck. I got a raise to $15hr to drive his RGN. I quit 10 months later to drive for JB hunt,.. big mistake. Quit after 2 weeks and came crawling back and in 1 yr I was at 21hr. So when I see places advertising to pay drivers $10-$12hr 25 yrs later,.. I find it insulting and degrading.
