Stay in the right lane in California. Regardless what they taught you in school to drive the middle lanes and jam traffic up behind you. Here in California we have lane restrictions for anything with 3 axles and up(more). They enforced it.

Slow and easy, dont take anything personal people driving cars are clueless they are not intending to kill you theyre just in a hurry.
Dont run in packs if everyone is doing 65 let them all go and do 63 its much more peaceful

Stay away from lot lizards, if you are in a governed truck don't pass unless there is a 5 MPH difference in speed, no one likes to watch 2 turtles racing.

There's no load worth risking it...

You are not saving the world so don't rush...

Always wait 5 minutes before calling in with a problem, you can probably figure it out, just calm down and think...

Make a list of every place you can park at overnight without needing to talk to a guardshack. And add it to address book, and mark it on the map.
That way after the 1st year or two you never have to resort the the bs paid parking they have now.

And on a personal note- Don't date that girl that seemed perfect in 2006 that appeared at your brother's bday party.

    ChancesRGood and tinytim Thank this.

    Don't make it worse.

When you screw up or find yourself in a bad situation relax and deal with it. Too many turn into headless chickens and really make it bad.

Learn from the mistakes of others.
