If you leave Swift before a year do you have to pay back the entire balance?

I believe if you go in as a regular Joe, that is true. I went in on their “military scholarship” deal. Stay one year and all is forgiven, nothing taken out or repaid to you during that year, but full amount due if you leave early.

I did almost 2 years of research and thought that Swift was the best fit for me. One of the bigger mistakes I’ve made in my life. At any rate, I’ll pay off what I owe early and be done with it.

I had the same deal with Central Refrigerated, owned by Swift. I left after nine months and owed, and paid, the balance. They offered to let me make payments but I paid it lump sum. Over and done with.

This is absolutely true. Even though they tell you they prorated based on how long you work, they lie to you left and right and tell you pretty things… The whole f****** thing is a trap. The only people who stay at Swift for any length of time are people who have no self-respect. I applied for a different job literally the day I had six months experience.

Yes, I went on the military scholarship as well. That’s what happened to me.
