I'm committed to driving about June to October on Fire season hauling Jet fuel and fire retardant.....but that leaves the rest of the year open......I'm retired Military.......zero accidents or tickets so far.......with a little over a year flatbed experience at McElroy Truck Lines (International 10 speed manual and auto).....and two years frameless dump experience hauling for a farmer locally (379 peterbuilt 18 speed).....gypsum and Lyme....
I still plan to do fire every year but want a job running southern routes over winter potentially coast to coast but I'm located in South Georgia.....what are your recommendations? I have Class A with Hazmat and Tanker......
Team is NOT an Option....Thanks
I'm committed to Fire Season....want Winter Trucking job....

Temp services can do that for you. There's several that hire in Georgia.
Trillium is one of them, but there's a few more.

Where do you do fire work? I have a gig in an adjacent field that goes from about march to july but its far from Georgia .
Are you sure you want to work year round? The joy of this kind of work is only working half a year!
Wouldnt you rather spend the winter fishing in mexico ? -

Can you tell us more about your fire gig?
