I'm curious, what are some of your favorite trucking companies. Also, what do you love about them?

Did you up on CRST? Bad Reputation, look up TruckerDiseree ( not sure if spelled right. I went to Continental for there training and the owner was very unprofessional and talking about my personal information in front of everyone . Thankfully my best friend and I left and went to KLLM for training , much much better training .

I've been with Marten Transport for 8 months now and minor issues aside the pay has been decent. I get breakdown pay, detention pay plus I get extra for pickups and drop offs in railyards(intermodal/drayage). So far the furthest west I've been sent is Sioux City,Iowa, Topeka,Kansas,Tulsa, Oklahoma and Minnesota but that could change. They have decent equipment, standardizing on Freightliner Cascadias,KW T-680s(long and short body versions),they have International ProStars but those are being phased out and retired. The company has also been investing in rebuilding their terminals. To date I'be been to Zionsville,Indiana, Tucker,Georgia,Memphis,Tennessee (which was finalizing their remodeling when I was there)Colonial Heights,Virginia (did my orientation there),and headquarters in Mondovi,Wisconsin. My home terminal is in Carlisle,Pennsylvania (a hand me down form JB Hunt-it's due to be either rebuilt or replaced outright soon)since I live in Massachusetts and so far they've done right by me. 401K,medical,dental and vision are affordable.

They will eat him up and spit him out.
He'll be on here in 3 months crying he can't make any money doing a lease purchase.

Off all day Saturday and Sunday. 51 hrs off. We each gross 90k a year. 70 dollars week health insurance. Sick days and Holidays paid. Paid vacation. 1wk after 1yr. 2 after 3yrs. 3 after 5yrs. Company owned resorts/hotels in Daytona Beach, Pigeon Forge Tn, Big Bear Lake CA and Wilmington OH. where we stay free. Next year we will make 95k each. Brand new truck every 2 years.

I will throw out Wilson Trucking... One of the best LTL carriers in the southeast region. I worked for them a year, they had good pay, awesome equipment, and from what I remember, no doubles!
