Okay, either my googling skills are failing me or there really isn't much for used stock out there. I've only come across brand new trailers with the exception of 1 used one. Are these in high demand or do they just not make many of them?
I was wondering how much pita and disadvantage mechanical vs hydraulic detach ...i am kinda doing research as well but not on extandable one
There is a decent Fontaine LX40 Extendable Mechanical with flip at Utility in SLC UT, its on truckpaper. also has a ramp set for rear bridge. $62k i think
mecahnical is lighter and cheaper and no pony motor that wont start (more reliable) hydraulic is convenient and faster if you break it often hydraulic can be raised for clearance over obstacles (RR xing) hydro is heavier and costs more
you can raise a mechanical as well — not ideal to have to drop the neck to do it but it’s a solution if in a situation or you setup your truck with the ability to raise the bags
