This doesn't effect me much anymore but I feel for you guys - especially reefers. This job sucks harder and harder by the day.

No new regulation here...that is the same regulation that has been on the books since I started. Simply put, the part that says "until relieved from responsibility" means, if your company or the customer doesn't require you to be present when the load is being loaded or unloaded, then you are relieved from being responsible for the load...ie. "off duty" or in the sleeper.

It's just a money grab by the state of Indiana.
I'd still log sleeper berth while being loaded or unloaded.
Federal law trumps state law.
Indiana state troopers can't manipulate Elogs, so log sleeper berth and do whatever the Elog has available after that.
