I blame the previous governor Mitch Daniels for that mess. Indians used to have great roads until that scumbag decided to lease the ITR to a foreign investment group. After that the road deteriorated into a rattle-your-teeth-out washboard, and the service areas became filthy dumps(one time I went to use one of the rest rooms and there was a large puddle of urine on the floor). Then the investment group went “bankrupt” and the toll road went to some other group. They’ve torn down and rebuilt half the service areas but the road itself sucks.

That’s been a disturbing trend lately with once-great agencies or businesses being handed off to investment groups or hedge fund fraudsters, especially when they are based outside of the country. They can run things into the ground without any repercussions... don’t even get me started on what happened to Kmart/Sears..I’m still pissed that craftsman tools is gone....

 

I agree. It's BS. The governor's words are sour in the mouth.

Ive run that 80 for years and I also run that old Schneider road around it as well.

Maybe they should jack the rates 35% to be equally catholic in abuse to cars too. Fairs fair.

 

Is 20 still closed at Angola ?

 

Was closed in town this summer but I not heard if its done yet .
