If you can get hired by a U.S. based company you will have to submit an I-9 work eligibility form you can find out more info on the USIS website

So what is your visa status?
-
Texas is a good state to move back to; lots of good trucking jobs there plus lower taxes
-
Just get a toerist VISA at the moment when i come to the US,i just need a compagny who hires drivers then i can go on getting a work VISA,i am single so i dont bring a whole family lol,i dont mind being on the road for a couple of weeks without coming home thats what i always did in europe
-
Work visa will be the big one, followed by which state will issue a CDL on a visa. Laws have changed since I arrived.
Research . . . -
I can inmagne that the laws have changed, what would the an option for me find a compagny first who hires people or get a VISA first?? I have no idea what to do
-
In saying that, I know Asian drivers are getting CDL in California on a visitors permit. I an NOT a fan of this. I did mine legal all the way, and respected the law and process.
There may be a few European drivers on here that have s little more insight that nay be more current than my knowledge.
