My fiance starts for averitt soon he didn't tell them about the last trucking company he worked for BC at the time he was just starting orientation with them. He quit/fired but they said they would right it down as a voluntary quit so he would be able to get a job. Well he hasn't told averitt abt them and the lady he had an interview with last week said she didn't see any companies listed in his DAC but when he got to the hotel averitt had some paper work prepared one was requesting permission to check his DAC report he signed it but it also says to list all companies within the past three years so hire rite can get drug screen results ect its been abt two weeks since he quit with the other company and about 5 days with the lady with the interview with averitt said there wasn't anything on his DAC so does that mean that other company isn't on his DAC and he should leave it alone just signing the paper nothing else or should he go ahead write it down? I don't want him toget fired over this if they ask him abt it he would be honest and tell them I'm just afraid since he didn't have it on his ten year work history plus I wouldn't want him to write it down if its not even on his DAC how long does it take before something gets on his DAC will it for sure be on there? What should he do should he just sign the paper giving permission or she he just sign it and write down the company too?

As I told you on your 'hometime'posts, rephrasing your question doesn't change the answer--tell him to BE HONEST and list the job.

I went through orentation at a company and left before truck assignment before I started with who I am with now. There was about a month of lag time between me leaving and applying. It came up when they were doing my paperwork asking me about the company. (I didn't put it down) I was just honest and said I went through orientation and didn't stay.

Point being its going to come up. Just be honest.

Honesty is always the best answer. If it's on there and they find out they won't believe what hes saying because he already lied about working with another company. At least if it on there they have no reason go not believe him.

Always be honest. Always. There's almost no way to get around the PSP, DAC, MVR, etc unless someone has devised that plan, and I doubt it. Starting off a new job with dishonesty is a great way to get yourself unemployed.
