My idea is to put injector cleaner into the fuel. Run down a tank and see if that helps with all these soot codes that I'm getting.
I had gotten a clogged air filter code. Was about 24 hours of enigine running before I could get to a new affordable filter.
I installed the new filter then I was just getting code after code after code.
Ended up running 4 regens in 18 hours.
All either soot codes or noxx codes. As well as was decorated. I made since of it thinking if I run hard enough long enough that soot has got to start burning off.
Did one last regen 40 mins ago and now all but one code is gone. Its spn 3223 fmi7.
My buddy new the air filter code which made it easy. And doing the google search last couple days ive learnt about the low heat hi heat for the regen. So I'm guessing by fixing the reserve on the radiator and fuel injector cleaner. I should be back to normal.
What do you think.?
Injector cleaner question.

feldsforever and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I don’t think any liquid magic treatment will solve any problems you are experiencing with this new age of emission controlled engines.

Check and make sure your flex pipe is not damaged. You may not be getting the regen done. I had an issue earlier and it was DPF Filter and had hole in Flex Pipe.

Generally speaking mechanic in a bottle never works.
Could be getting soot from anywhere: overfuelling, burning oil, EGR sticking open, etc. Can even be faulty sensor readings triggering a regen. -
