I know one thing id never want to work for you. I know several people that you would like to work for you. they dont even know what checking the oil means must less anything else about your expensive equipment but they have good credit and no past injuries.

I have a list of qualifications. Like I said, I don't gamble my business/livelihood. I don't give handouts. If someone is looking for one, the megas are always hiring.......I'm not. To each their own.

Huh? I just wait until the oil light comes on and then I add 11 gallons, is this incorrect?

Well you have not seen a lot of people in the midwest driving. I can promise I see just as many junk trucks that are sticks and they cannot back up to save a life.

Smart move in a lot of ways as it protects you. Nothing wrong with that and sure you will find people that will work right. The right person will need no motivation to run and do his job, so no reason to pay per mile. And if you need motivation to do the job you are paid for you might as well go work for a mega.
I disagree on the auto part as it can make that person more productive in my eyes. Less wear and tear on the body and you can keep both hands on the wheel and not be distracted. I can drive both but would never buy or make someone drive a stick for those reasons. My preference only just like you have yours. Nothing wrong with that,

I don't disagree with that. I'm the way I am because I've learned along the way. Been there don't that kinda thing. I'm not saying that every guy with bad credit is bad, not saying all guys who can't drive a manual are bad.....etc. however, I've delt with enough throughout the years that I don't need to find out any more. I've had enough equipment sold/stolen, lawsuits, abandoned trucks, drug abusers, gamblers, excessive law breakers, equipment abusers, etc that I've learned from that. I've learned that I don't need to repeat it. All at my expense. Because when they screw something up or get tickets and screw my score......they just go down the road to another place, leaving me hold the bag. So, I'm alot more careful on who I choose to deal with, with my investment. If they don't like it, they can go buy their own.
